Which direction is tolled?
All-electronic since January 4, 2026. You pay by toll zone: the Pleasantville group, the Egg Harbor barrier and Route 50 ramp, or the Williamstown and Berlin-Cross Keys zones.
Good to know
- The Expressway has been all-electronic since January 4, 2026. Cash is only accepted in person at the E-ZPass customer service center at the Farley Service Plaza, for paying E-ZPass or Toll By Plate bills.
- The ACX Plan is the Expressway's frequent-user discount: use your E-ZPass at least 30 times in a 35-day period and the discount applies for the next 35 days, with no extra charge.
- Class 2 covers two-axle cars, pickup trucks, vans and motorcycles. Limo, dual-rear-wheel (Class 17) and Classes 3 to 5 pay more and are listed on the Authority's page.
